Return Policy

1. Return & Exchange Request Guidelines

  • Please ensure that the product was purchased through the official Jiayan website to be eligible for return or exchange during the cooling-off period.

  • All purchases are entitled to a 7-day cooling-off period, starting from the day after delivery, in accordance with Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Act.

If you encounter any issues with your order and wish to request a return or exchange, please:

  • Log in to your member account and leave a message in your order, or

Kindly provide your order number and full name when submitting your request.


2. Taiwan Consumer Protection Act

  • Consumers are entitled to a 7-day cooling-off period (including weekends and holidays) starting from the day after receiving the product. Requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.

  • The cooling-off period is not a trial period. Returned products must be in brand-new condition and include complete original packaging, including:

    • Product(s)

    • Free gifts

    • Packaging materials (bags, boxes, inserts)

    • Invoice

  • Packaging is considered part of the product. Missing, damaged, or incomplete packaging may affect your eligibility.
    Products that have been opened, used, or cannot be restored to their original condition are not eligible for return or exchange.


3. Return Policy

  • Returns will not be accepted if any components are missing or damaged, including products, gifts, packaging, or invoices.

  • Free gifts included in the order cannot be selected or exchanged unless defective.

  • If the return process cannot be completed within 7 days from the day after the return request is submitted (e.g., inability to contact the customer or failure to return the product), the request will be automatically canceled and cannot be resubmitted.

  • Within the 7-day cooling-off period, returns are accepted only if:

    • The product is defective upon opening, or

    • The wrong item was delivered


4. Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges are limited to cases involving defective products or incorrect shipments.
    Requests beyond the 7-day cooling-off period will not be accepted.

  • Shipping costs for exchanges due to defects or incorrect shipments will be covered by the Company.
    Customers must provide a valid shipping address, contact person, and phone number.

  • Products that have been opened and used and cannot be restored to their original condition are not eligible for exchange.

  • Products damaged due to improper handling by the customer (e.g., damage, stains, incomplete packaging) and therefore no longer resellable are not eligible for exchange.

  • Due to variations in screen resolution across devices, slight color differences between website images and actual products may occur. Final determination will be subject to the Company’s judgment.


5. Refund Policy

  • Refunds will only be processed after the returned product has been received and inspected by the Company.


Refund Methods

Credit Card (Full Payment):

  • Once approved, a refund confirmation email will be issued.

  • Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card within 5–7 business days.

  • The refunded amount will appear on your current or next billing statement depending on your card issuer.

Partial Refunds:

  • Refunds will be issued either:

    • To the original credit card (partial refund), or

    • Via bank transfer to the account provided by the customer

ATM Transfer:

  • Refunds will be transferred to the customer’s designated bank account.

  • Please provide:

    • Account name

    • Bank name

    • Account number / branch code

Cash on Delivery (Convenience Store Pickup):

  • Refunds will be transferred to the customer’s designated bank account.

  • Please provide the same banking details as above.

  • Customers are advised to verify the refund via their bank records.


6. Store Credits

If store credits were used in the original purchase, such credits will not be refunded after a return.
